Patient Care
Patient care and optimal outcomes are Age Right’s top priorities.
Their reassuring and detailed approach ensures that every patient feels comfortable, listened to, and fully supported throughout their diagnosis and treatment. They will ensure a diagnosis is provided, followed up by expert, customised recommendations for treatment.
We are the first private community geriatric multidisciplinary practice in Melbourne able to provide care with access to geriatricians, specialised physiotherapist, social work, occupational therapist, speech pathology and referral to neuropsychologist. We also hold group sessions linking similar patients and their carers together for a more holistic approach to care at the Malvern East rooms. We understand the role carers provide and acknowledge that it can be challenging at times. Our team are here to help carers with support, education or a warm cuppa (at the Malvern East rooms).
The clinical team at Age Right welcome your call to discuss a patient’s treatment or any challenging patient cases you may have. Should you have a patient that needs an appointment urgently, requires a home visit or support by phone or email, please be assured that we will do our best to accommodate these needs and keep you informed with regards to their care. We will ensure that you receive patient reports and updates in a timely fashion.
Our geriatricians would love to meet referrers and welcome lunchtime or after-hours educational sessions to keep you updated with the changes in geriatric medicine over time. Please feel free to discuss your needs and book an educational session via our practice manager, Jo.
To get in touch with any of the doctors, please contact our friendly staff who will put you in direct contact with them as efficiently as possible.
Should you have any feedback about our patient care and services, Dr Kelly Wright would welcome a call.
